Educational activity
After teaching assignments at the conservatoires in Karlsruhe (score), Cologne (opera) and Stuttgart (conducting) he was appointed Professor of Conducting and leader of the conservatoire orchestra at Hochschule für Musik Nuremberg in 2009.
His class consists of 5 international students in the bachelor- and master programme and guest students taking part in the Erasmus-Programme.
The symphonic orchestra of Hochschule für Musik Nuremberg is playing up to the grand romantic repertoire (“Don Juan” by R. Strauss) in different line-ups and can be heard at at least three concerts a year. It has been touring in Italy (Cantiere of Montepulciano), Luxembourg, Prague and China (twice) as the conservatoires ambassador.
